Hello, Megaherz forums Smiley

I would like to let you all know about a new radio show, Radio Nietzsche.  The goal of Radio Nietzsche is to introduce its listeners to a wide variety of music from Germany, Austria, and Swizterland.  I try to include many indie bands and artists as well, as the main goal is to not only promote their music in North America, but make them more accessible to the listener.

I also work with Mikki (who I believe you all know) from Deutschmusikland to promote new bands and artists via the Deutschmusikland site.  This is a ongoing project, so in the future you will see bio's, interviews, translated sites and such posted for a featured artist, and that weekend I will have a interview or spotlight on them for the show Smiley

If you are interested in hearing some new music, learning about new artists and German music in general, then please check me out at:

http://www.myspace.com/radionietzsche

The show streams live at 3pm - 5pm on The Riot Radio http://www.theriotradio.com/ (UTC-5 & -6 depending on daylight savings) so feel free to tune in.  I also play many mainstream bands such as Rammstein, Oomph!, Witt, a certain band called Megaherz Wink etc.

I am looking forward to doing many 'special' shows in the future, and having recorded interviews sometime soon, so stay tuned for that.  Feel free to add me on myspace and be sure to visit http://www.deutschmusikland.com/index.php to check on our promotion of artists in the future.  You can also find Deutschmusikland on mypace at:  http://www.myspace.com/deutschmusikland

Feel free to us to your friends list if you wish.  Any questions, comments or suggestions are welcome.

Have a great day,

Radio Nietzsche.

Gah, I forgot to listen this weekend again. Hopefully I will remember to listen next weekend, if I'm still not asleep from having been out too long on Halloween the night before.  Grin

Also, maybe I'm blind, but I don't think you said that this is a weekly show, playing every Saturday.  This is important information to mention. Wink

Yes, I often forget the little details  Tongue

But if anyone clicks the link to the myspace, all info is there, including the link to the stream, so despite my forgetful nature, it's ok.  Wink

I have recently concluded an interview with German acoustic artist Shino.

This is due to a new co-operation between myself, and Mikki from http://www.deutschmusikland.com/index.php

Shino is also Deutschmusikland's featured artist this week.  http://www.deutschmusikland.com/fa.php

You can find the interview with Shino at:  http://www.deutschmusikland.com/RN/shinointerview.php

Shino on myspace:  http://www.myspace.com/bloodysalvation

Shino's site (now in English!): http://www.shino.aliaks.de/

Download his music:  http://www.af-music.de/releases/shino-bestof.html

And of course, you can read all about this and future interviews events on my blog at:  http://www.myspace.com/radionietzsche

Big thanks to Mikki of Duetschmusikland and to Aliaks (Shino) for his tremendous co-operation.

I hope you all enjoy it Smiley

Just to let everyone know that this weekend I will be airing the Interviews I did with Thomas of De/Vision and Frank of Seabound on the show and it will be a bit of a De/Vision and Seabound special as well.

I will probably put the full, unedited interviews with all the silly jokes, slip ups and banter up on http://www.deutschmusikland.com/index.php as well under the Radio Nietzsche section, so look for those if you are interested Wink

The show details are in the beginning of the topic, so tune if you would like to hear that.

I am also working on an interview with Der Graf when he comes to the USA for Dracula's ball in March.  So fingers crossed for all you Unheilig fans out there Wink

Edit:

The audio interviews I did with Thomas of De/Vision and Frank of Seabound are now up on Deutschmusikland.

http://www.deutschmusikland.com/radionietzscheinterviews.php

These are the uncut and raw interviews, not the edited ones I aired.  So enjoy all the mess ups  Wink

To those who listen to the show or follow me on Myspace, you have heard the announcement that I will have a special show next week focusing on Hannover based Electro-Metal band Treibhaus.  Founder and frontman Curt Doernberg was nice enough to do an interview with me, and an entire hour of the show will be dedicated to the interview and the music of Treibhaus.

The show will be up this coming Saturday, August, 15.

Be sure to tune in, it will be a good one Smiley

sorry to mess up your thread with my comments  Tongue   - but i just wanted to say that this is one of the best interviews i've ever read!    lex is soooooo interesting.  anyone with multiple talents, i envy!  and although i'll never be able to read the book... being in german and all... i'm really impressed.  it just goes to show that the masterminds of megaherz made the right decision by inviting lex to be a part of a great band.

thanks so much for doing the interview, both RN and Lex!

I have a 1 hr special on the 25th anniversary of German legends KMFDM including an interview I did with Kaptn' K during the Kein Mitlied tour.

Be sure to tune in to the Live show at 3 pm or find the one hour special on the myspace page all week long starting this Saturday!

I really hope you enjoy it, and thank you to Sascha for his time and the Interview. It was a great experience Smiley

It's been awhile, but here is an update for you all:

I had some computer problems around December, that took a month to fix and get everything back (yes I'm slow and not so computer savvy Sad ), but now everything is back to normal and fixed.

I have a new interview for you all this week on the myspace page, this time it's with Dresden based acoustic artist Shino.  He's a cool guy, does all the music by himself from a home made studio of sorts, so I hope you enjoy the interview.  Just follow the link in my profile to the Myspace site, hit play and hopefully enjoy Smiley

You can also check him out at the following sites:

http://www.myspace.com/bloodysalvation

http://www.shino.aliaks.de/

I have an interview with German dark  band GEIST coming up soon.  I interviewed Tim and Fares from Geist and from the rough audio I have, I can tell you it will be a great one.

So stay tuned for that interview very soon, I'll make an announcement Smiley

I also have some other things in the works, including interviews with Hertzton's Markus Winter and [Die!].  So we shall see Smiley

That is it for now, feel free to add me on myspace and keep up with my blog from there.
